Decade and decadic logarithm

A decade is an amount of ten and a decadic logarithm is accordingly a tenfold increase per step on a scale. Additionally, the term decade is also used in connection with the decadic logarithm to describe either the tenfold increase of a value or the range between a base value and its tenfold increase.

We use the decadic logarithm to display the isolation performance of our isolators. In the displayed case the x- and y-axis are numbered with a decadic logarithm.
